Day 2 of 12 Days – 12 Tips to an Empowered 2020 Relationship

 

Tip 2: Your thinking—whether positive or negative—will affect and influence your behavior and your relationships with the same results: positive or negative.

If you knew that your positive thinking would cause all sorts of positive things to happen to and with you throughout your day, would you monitor your thinking a little closer?

If you knew that your negative thinking would affect and influence what you do and the way you do it, would you think a little different?

Inside your head, whatever you’re thinking, be it positive or negative, will show up for you in some physical way to match that same vibration.

Think about this. You wake up in the morning from a “bad” dream. You continue to think about that dream. What do you think happens? You get more and more upset about what you remember, and think of even worse things happening. Your first encounter with anyone will have a residue of whatever you’re thinking.

Another example. You have an unsettled disagreement or misunderstanding with your beloved and then you go off to work. How do you suppose you will act towards your fellow co-workers? Will you be snappy? Will you become a recluse for the remainder of the day? Will you return home the same way or different?

These questions are for you to consider how your thinking really does affect and influence your behavior and your relationships; in the same way in which you are thinking–positively or negatively.

Is that what you want? All from a so called “bad” dream that you took off and ran with in your head. You’re in control of that. You can’t stop a thought from coming to mind, but you can control what you do with that thought once it lands. How’s that for a thinking tip!
