Love is much more than just a word. It’s a feeling. It’s an expression. It’s excitement. It’s all of that and so much more.
This is the “LOVE” month. Are you saying, showing and sharing the same love you want to receive, and not just because of Valentine’s Day?
Love is not just a one-day thing. Nor is it an every now and then thing for that matter. True love isn’t just a one-day time to celebrate those you have strong feelings for. It can and should be said, shared and expressed on a regular basis, and without any expectations in return as a result.
Don’t wait until this same time again next year to show your appreciation. Think of someone who mean something to you, who matters. Let them know it, just for the sake of letting them know. Say the heartfelt words “I LOVE YOU” to that special person (or people). Everyone wants and needs to feel and to be loved, and to know it beyond a shadow of a doubt, without any question or ulterior motive behind it.
That’s real love and it should always feel good. Love should not hurt or set out to cause intentional pain. It endures. It is patient and kind. It’s even difficult to explain or describe in its truest form. But it should always feel good.
If you are sharing and showing love in some way, I commend you and encourage you to keep up the good work.
If the last time you said, shared or showed love to someone was on a special day just because of that day and not necessarily because of who the person is to you, then let this serve as a reminder that any day can be a special day because you choose for it to be.
Speak, show and share LOVE with someone today.
