Yep, it’s time to get real! How much time have you spent trying to figure out what you want for your life and nothing whatsoever has changed? You’re still trying, right? That’s because you haven’t changed.

Remember this. If nothing changes, guess what? Nothing changes! BUT, if something changes, guess what? Something else will change as a result of that change. No, you won’t know exactly what will change as a result of you changing one thing, but you can rest assured that something else will indeed shift in some way.

So, if you are sick and tired of being sick and tired of the way things have been, then I’m saying to you today, it’s time for you to get real with yourself. No more playing around with “trying”. Because, you see, when you’re trying, you just continue to try over and over again, rather than actually do something. How is that working for you?

Then I’m here to suggest that you take an intentional pause and take a serious look at your life, and decide if you’re ready to get real with yourself about how you want things to look. If you’re good with the way things look, hey, kudos to you! BUT, if you’re not, then tell yourself that today is the day you are deciding to get real.

You are the only one that this matters to. So, it’s totally up to you to take a close look and pay close attention to what shows up for you. Again, if you’re happy and you know it, say amen. But if you know you are NOT happy with your life and the way it’s showing up for you, or even how you’re showing up for you, then acknowledge that too. Only then can you begin to get real.

When you are ready to get real, you will then be able to see what is no longer working for you, what you think and how you feel about it, and consider some possible changes you can and are willing to make. That’s the beginning phase of getting real.

Nothing can be done about the past, except learn from it. It is done and over. But the future is in front of you, and the choices you make today will indeed affect how tomorrow will look for you. So, what do you think? Are you ready to get real? You can do this. I’m rooting for you!
